Title: OAS Course on Management of Cyber Security Incidents Concludes in Paraguay
Summary: The Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE) of the Organization of American States (OAS) today concluded a course in Paraguay on the Management of Cyber Security and Network Intrusion Incidents designed to train local authorities in preventing computer incidents.

The five day course which took place in Asuncion was inaugurated on Monday the 12th by the President of Paraguay, Federico Franco; and was attended by the Attorney General, Javier Díaz Verón; the Interior Minister Carmelo Caballero; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Antonio Rivas Palacios; the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, Minister Santiago Vazquez; the Executive Secretary of CICTE, Neil Klopfenstein; and the United States Ambassador to Paraguay, James H. Thessin.
