Title: I International Workshop on Gender and Cybersecurity
Summary: The National Institute of Cybersecurity of Spain (INCIBE) and the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS) have joined efforts to organize the I International Workshop on Gender and Cybersecurity: "Creating a more inclusive digital world v1.0," which will take place between June 5 and 6, 2017 in León, Spain.

This initiative is geared towards promoting the exchange of information, and the development of knowledge on gender and cybersecurity. This will be the first activity of this kind to be carried out. The OAS will also continue to organize forums, roundtables and workshops that discuss good practices to promote more inclusive career opportunities in cybersecurity, so that this field is attractive to a more diverse group of people.

The OAS cybersecurity program will be offering partial scholarships for participants from OAS Member States. This financial support will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. What does the scholarship include? The GS/OAS will cover accommodation costs. Each participant will be responsible for covering any additional costs, such as air and ground transportation, food, health insurance, visa expenses, among others.

Registration for participants from OAS Member States is open until May 3
